The Comforter has Come !

The Comforter has Come! Acts 2:1-13 Main Point: The Coming of the Spirit at Pentecost was the fulfillment of the Father’s promise for His children, that the Spirit would now indwell and empower every disciple of Jesus. Acts 1:4-5; 2:33 1. The gift of the Spirit was given to indwell every disciple of Jesus to enable us to know the Father intimately, and live in relationship with Jesus. John 14:15-20 2. The gift of the Spirit was given to empower every disciple of Jesus so that we can be effective witnesses of Him Acts 1:8 John 7:37-39 ‘If anyone is thirsty let him come to me and drink. Whoever believes in me , as the scripture has said, streams of living water will flow from within him. By this he meant the Spirit whom those who believed in Him were later to receive.’
