An Anchor of Hope
An Anchor of Hope Hebrews 6:13-20 Main Point: Jesus our Messiah gives us a Hope that is rock solid – an anchor that holds, so that we can faithfully endure, despite the storms of life. 1. God made a promise, and swore an oath by His own Name - He cannot lie. Numbers 23:19 *The promise was that God would bless Abraham (verses 13-14 > Gen.12:2-3) and we would be blessed through Him. 2. Abraham received the fulfillment of the promise after he waited patiently. We must patiently endure that we may receive the fullness of the promise made to us. verses 15, 18-19 3. The anchor of our hope is Jesus our High Priest, who has gone thru the curtain, into the heavenly sanctuary – God's Presence. verses 19-20 Romans 5:1-5 We can faithfully endure, despite the storms of life because He is the anchor that holds!
