The Mystery of Christ in You Colossians 1:24-29 Main Point: The mystery of the Gospel is that Christ lives in us! Therefore, we teach and admonish everyone so that we may become perfect in Christ who is our hope of glory. Perfect = fully mature, complete 1. The incomprehensible mystery of the Gospel is that Jesus Christ comes to live in us by His Spirit, who then works to conform us to His image. (verse 27) II Corinthians 3:17-18 Suffering is involved (v. 24) Philippians 3:10 2. We teach and admonish each other that we may grow and become perfect (fully mature) in Christ. (verse 28) Colossians 3:16-17
