The account: Jesus was crucified, dead and buried, but some of the women and disciples found the grave empty, and angels appeared to the women. verses 20-24 Eyewitness account of the risen Jesus - John 20:19-20 2. The prophecy: Jesus explains that Moses and all the prophets foretold His death and resurrection. verses 25-27 Deuteronomy 18:15&18 Isaiah 53:6-11 The Call: Jesus calls these two and each of us to put our faith in Him as the risen Messiah who died for our sins and rose from the dead for our salvation. verse 25 Jesus words to us recorded in John 3:16-18, “16. For God so loved the world that He gave His One and Only Son, that whoever believes in Him shall not perish, but have everlasting life.†“17. For God did not send His Son into the world to condemn the world, but to save the world through Him. 18. Whoever believes in Him is not condemned, but whoever does not believe stands condemned already because he has not believed in the name of the One and Only Son.†*Have you put your Faith in Jesus the Risen Christ?!
