Loving, Bearing, Forgiving

Loving, Bearing, Forgiving Colossians 3:12-17 Main Point : God has chosen us as His people, and calls us to love, bear with each other, and forgive each other, just as He has done in Christ for us. I Peter 2:9-10 1. We are to ‘clothe’ ourselves with the character qualities of Christ, putting off the old self and putting on the ‘new self’, expressed in compassion, kindness, humility, gentleness, and patience. vv. 9-12 2. We are to put on Love, which is expressed by bearing with each other’s failures, and forgiving each other’s grievances. vv. 13 - 14 Let us remember - Christ did not give up on us!
