Devotions or Devoted?

Devotions or Devoted? II Corinthians 11:1-4 Main Point: We must guard ourselves to have sincere and pure devotion to Christ – like a bride promised to a one husband! NLT – “But I fear that somehow your pure and undivided devotion to Christ will be corrupted, just as Eve was deceived by the cunning ways of the serpent.” Matthew 7:21-23 We will ‘do’ want we want, out of who we are - Our ‘doing’ has to flow out of ‘being’ – who we are in Christ! We need to recalibrate, re-alignment… *The problem is we are not developing a relationship with the Lord Jesus Christ, and we don’t know who we are in Him. We spend little or no time is His Word to understand who He is, and allow him to speak to us – if He does we do not take time to consider it – meditate on it, truly understand it and let it begin to define who I am. It’s hard enough with the normal responsibilities of life (work, responsibilities, chores, etc.) but Satan, the great deceiver, has devised schemes to lead us astray- *We’ve got to get back to knowing who we are in Christ: Who I Am in Christ!
