True Love
True Love Mark 12:28-34 Main Point True Love is to Love the Lord our God with all our heart, soul, mind and strength, and love our neighbor as ourselves. Deuteronomy 6:4,5 Love (awhab) = deep affection, (agape) = unconditional commitment. 1. Is the Lord your God?!! Joshua 24:14-15 John 5:24-27; 8:23-24 2. To love the Lord means to love Him with everything! Heart (lebawb) = inner being, center of understanding. Soul (nephesh) = life, vitality Mind (dianoia) = deep understanding Strength (meh-ode) = vehemence, fervancy = our entire being! 3. Love our neighbor as ourselves. verse 31 We must first love ourselves properly – with the Love God pours into us, which gives us a right account of ourselves. Philippians 2:1-4 Look to the interests of others!
