Evil That Deceives II Thessalonians 1:1-12 Main Point:The coming of the lawless one, the man of sin, will be displayed in all kinds of counterfeit signs and wonders – we are not to be deceived by the evil work of satan. 1. The man of lawlessness will be revealed in counterfeit signs and wonders to try to prove that he is God. (verses 4-9) Matthew 24:23-27 2. The secret power of lawlessness is already at work to deceive many. (verses 7, 9-12) Ephesians 5:8-16 2.The one who holds it back now will be taken out of the way, and then the lawless one will be revealed. (verses 6-8) II Corinthians 11:3-4
