Is our discipleship in Jesus translating into devotion to God’s Word, the Body, Community, Worship? Devoted = steadfast attention and adherence, practcing . 1. Believers are devoted to the Apostle's teaching. This is the teaching of God’s Word fulfilled in Jesus Christ. verses 29-33 2. Our discipleship must translate into devotion to the Lord Jesus Christ, His Word, - and to the fellowship - His Body! verse 42 3. Our discipleship must translate into devotion to… the ‘Breaking of Bread.’ verse 46b = Community – sharing life together and committed to each other (verse 44-45). I Corinthians 11:20-22; 33-34 4. Our discipleship must translate into devotion to… Prayer. verse 42 Acts 4:23-31
