God Nailed It !
God Nailed IT! Colossians 2:13-15 Main Point: God nailed the written code with its regulations to the Cross of Christ, forgiving us and making us alive in Christ, and disarmed the evil powers that seek to deceive and enslave us. The false teachers had their ‘rules and regulations’ to follow. 1.We were dead in our sins, and our unsubmitted sinful nature through the law. (verse 13) Romans 7:7-12 2. God canceled the record of our debt, forgave all of our sins and made us alive in Christ. (verses 13-14) ’Canceled’ = Erased/Paid in full We now ‘live’ through Christ! 3. God disarmed the evil Spiritual powers through the cross of Christ – He made a public spectacle of them! (verse 15) Deception is their only weapon. I Timothy 4:1-5
