Got Fruit? Colossians 1:1-14 Main Point:The gospel of Christ has borne fruit in us, making us holy and faithful by the grace of God, and now we are called to bear good fruit in our lives that glorifies Him! Does the fruit of your life speak of ‘Holy, faithful, full of Love’? 1. Understanding God’s grace – the gospel, results in the fruit of faith (believing) in Christ. vv. 4-6, 12-14 Romans 6:11-14 2. Out of our faith in Christ comes the fruit of love through the Spirit. vv. 4-6 Romans 5:3-5 1 Corinthians 13:4-8 3. Out of our faith and love is the calling to live a life worthy of the Lord – pleasing Him, bearing good fruit in our lives – growing and having great endurance and patience. vv. 10-12 Romans 6:11-14
