It’s Beginning to Look a lot Like Christmas! I Timothy 6:6-10 Main Point: During this Christmas season we must keep our focus on our calling – to be Godly, Christlike, and to be content with our possessions and money! Romans 12:1-2 Don’t let the world squeeze you into its mold! 1. Our calling, regardless of the season, is to follow Jesus Christ and become more like Him, as a testimony to a watching world. (verse 6) Colossians 3:1-4 2. Godliness means we are content with whatever money and possessions God has allowed us to have! (verses 6-8) ‘Content’ = sufficiency in the necessities of life; The mind contented with one’s lot I Timothy 6:17-19
