He Shall Be Called Immanuel
He Shall be Called Immanuel Matthew 1:18-25 Luke 1:68-75 *Ancient prophecy about the impact of Messiah. Main Point: Jesus will be Immanuel, God with us, and He will save His people from their sins! 1. God desired a relationship with His people, and would provide salvation for them. (verse 21) John 16:28 Jesus is Immanuel, God with us! 2. God sent His Son, Jesus, to become human/flesh. (verse 20) John 1:14 3. God let His Son, Jesus, die and be raised to provide the gift of salvation. (verses 21-23) *The truth of Christmas is that we can know God by knowing Jesus, Immanuel, who revealed the Father to us!
