How to Live Free John 8:31-41 Main Point: If we will hold to Jesus’ teachings (be a disciple) then we will be set free and live in that freedom. *Hold = Remain/Abide - Remain in & live in faithfully Have you become a Christ follower??! 1. I have to first admit that I’m not free. (verses 32 & 34) I John 1:8-10 2. I have to accept that Jesus makes me His son or daughter (verses 35-36) 3. I have to live an Abraham life = Live by Faith/Trust in His Word. (verses 37-39) Genesis 15:1-6 “Abraham believed the Lord and He credited it to (Abraham) as righteousness.” *I have to give His word priority in my life!
