It Will Cost Your Life! Acts 2:29-41 Main Point: If you want to be saved from God’s wrath, your sins and this corrupt generation, then you must personally accept Jesus Christ, repent of your sins and be baptized in His Name. John 8:23-24 1. Jesus has been raised from death by God; made Lord & Christ; and now offers forgiveness and the promised Holy Spirit for those who will believe. verses 32-36 Acts 4:10-12 *We are God’s enemies until we are saved through Christ. Romans 5:6-10 2. To receive this gift of the Holy Spirit and forgiveness we must: A. Repent of our unbelief and sins: verse 38a B. Be baptized in the Name of Jesus Christ: verse 38b The people’s response: verse 41 What about you??!
