Main Point:
God wants His plan of evangelizing accomplished and will use even persecution to us out of our comfort zone!

1. Called & – Jesus had commissioned them, ‘Make Disciples’ > Matt 28:19

Are you a disciple / follower of Jesus Christ? Are we fully devoted disciples of Jesus Christ?

God was not done with the Samaritans yet! (John 4 Woman)

*Who has He been speaking to you about sharing Jesus with?
*Who’s your one?

We should be able to Share the gospel / give a reasonable defense of our Faith in Jesus Christ. I Peter 3:15

2. Called to ___________ – We have to be careful that we don’t have an incomplete or incorrect theology. Suffering and persecution is a part of the gospel. John 15:18-21; Acts 9:15-16; II Timothy 3:12

3. Called to _____________________________!
verses 4-5 Philip was a deacon (served tables) but went and preached & proclaimed Jesus Christ! God confirmed with wondrous signs & miracles! > There was great Joy!

I Peter 2:4-10
Main Point: We have been called out of darkness to be ________________ that we may live and declare His praises!

Exodus 19:3-6 –– this was always God’s plan…

1. God has called us out of into His wonderful light.

v.4 ‘As you come to Him, the living stone…’ We must come to Him in faith! Romans 10:9-10 *Have you come to Christ?

John 8:12

2. God has called us to be His –
a. We are called to be His – we belong to Him! Love Him __

b. Chosen people – chosen for what? to be in relationship with Him and to represent Him – a holy people, set apart to Him for His purposes! II Corinthians 5:20

c. Royal priesthood – we represent God to a watching world, we share Him, the gospel, with everyone – declare His praises!

Ephesians 5:8

*Have you received His mercy? Has He chosen you and made you one of His? Then live it, declare it!

Isaiah 43:21 ‘…the people I formed for myself that they may proclaim my praise!’

A message from the series “Not Part of a Series.” Life is Sacred!
Psalm 139:1-18
1. We affirm that every life is sacred – born, and unborn, because God has that life. (Verses 13 & 16)

Jeremiah 1:5 “Before I formed you in the womb I knew you, before you born I set you apart…”

Because we are all created in the of God (Genesis 1:27), every one of us has incredible worth, beauty and dignity.

*God’s law, Exodus 21:22, declares value to the un-born, and condemns injury to them! Abortion is wrong!

2. We stand for _______ and are winning this battle one heart at a time! Proverbs 24:11

Seven steps we can take if we really want to be pro-life.
1. It is time we fast and pray for America.
2. We need to speak out in the name of Jesus Christ.
3. We need to reach out with a message of love to the women who have had abortions.
4. We need to take our pro-life convictions into the voting booth.
5. We need to support those who are on the right side of this issue.
6. We need to get down to the root of the problem.
7. We must do whatever we can to protect our children
