Jesus presents us holy and blameless, as we continue in our faith, not moved from the hope of the Gospel.

Presents = bring before, recommend

1. We were once alienated from God because of our sinful thinking (noia=mind) and behavior, and were His enemies. (verse 21)
Alienated = Not together, estranged, shut out

Enemies = adversaries = (God was against us)

Exodus 32:30-35

2. He reconciled us, not only to be forgiven, but to become
righteous – holy, like Him!

reconciled = to fully bring back to former state of harmony

Romans 5:9-11

3. We must continue in our faith, unmoved from the gospel of
Jesus Christ!

Hebrews 2:1

Main Point:
Father God protects and keeps us, but through the trials He allows, He proves our faith in Jesus Christ genuine that it may result in praise!

*II Timothy 1:12 “For I know whom I have believed, and am convinced that He is able to guard what I have entrusted to Him for that day.”
1.Our inheritance of salvation in Christ is kept for us
in heaven where it can never perish.
(verses 4-5)

2. We must exercise our faith – trusting His word and living a sanctified, and obedient new life.

3. We are to rejoice in the trials, knowing that our faith is
being tested – proved genuine, and results in praise.

A message from the series “Not Part of a Series.” God’s Gift of Christmas
Luke 2:1-14

Main Point: God offers His Christmas gift to each of us – it is the gift of His peace and Favor through His Son Jesus Christ, the Savior and Lord!

1. God’s gift of Christmas is inner peace, where we are in right relationship to God through Jesus Christ.(verses 10-11)

*It is a deep inner peace, peace of mind, soul and heart made possible by forgiveness of our sins by this Savior, Messiah – born to die & rise again!

2. We receive this gift by believing in Jesus Christ(putting our faith in Him) – we trust in what He has done for us, and invite Him into our lives.

*God’s favor rests on those who respond to His call to repentance, turn from our sin & self-will, and receive His Son, Jesus Christ, in our lives as Lord = Master!

Matthew 1:18-25

Luke 1:68-75 *Ancient prophecy about the impact of Messiah.

Main Point: Jesus will be Immanuel, God with us, and He will save His people from their sins!

1. God desired a relationship with His people, and would provide salvation for them. (verse 21)

John 16:28

Jesus is Immanuel, God with us!

2. God sent His Son, Jesus, to become human/flesh. (verse 20)

3. God let His Son, Jesus, die and be raised to provide the gift of salvation.(verses 21-23)

*The truth of Christmas is that we can know God by knowing Jesus, Immanuel, who revealed the Father to us!

A message from the series “Not Part of a Series.” You Shall Call Him Yeshua
Luke 1:26-38

Main Point
This Child conceived in Mary by the Holy Spirit will be called Jesus (Yeshua) = ‘Yahweh saves, or Yahweh our Salvation’

‘Salvation’ (root word ‘sodzo’) = to be saved, made whole. (1:69,71)

How is it that this Jesus will make us whole?
1. This Child Yeshua will be divinely unique. (verse 32)
‘He will be great and will be called Son of the Most High.’

Isaiah 7:14 Immanuel = ‘God with us’

Isaiah 9:6-7 ‘He shall reign forever and ever.”

2. This Child Yeshua will reign – His kingdom will never end.
(verse 33)

Micah 5:2 ‘His origins are of old, from ancient times.’

Revelation 11:15 ‘The world has now become the Kingdom of our Lord and of His Christ…’

Philippians 2:9-11

This is God’s Christmas gift for you! Have you received Him and His salvation (wholeness), and is He reigning in your life?

As the Father sent Jesus to reveal the Father to us, so Jesus sends us into the world to share His Love in the power of the Holy Spirit!

v. 21 Jesus was Love, Grace & Truth by the Father into the world!

John 6:38 “For I have come down from heaven to do the will of God who sent me, not to do my own will.” (NLT)
