God's Chosen People
God’s Chosen People I Peter 2:4-10 Main Point: We have been called out of darkness to be ________________ that we may live and declare His praises! Exodus 19:3-6 –– this was always God’s plan… 1. God has called us out of into His wonderful light. v.4 ‘As you come to Him, the living stone…’ We must come to Him in faith! Romans 10:9-10 *Have you come to Christ? John 8:12 2. God has called us to be His - a. We are called to be His – we belong to Him! Love Him __ ____________________________________________ b. Chosen people – chosen for what? to be in relationship with Him and to represent Him – a holy people, set apart to Him for His purposes! II Corinthians 5:20 c. Royal priesthood – we represent God to a watching world, we share Him, the gospel, with everyone – declare His praises! Ephesians 5:8 *Have you received His mercy? Has He chosen you and made you one of His? Then live it, declare it! Isaiah 43:21 ‘…the people I formed for myself that they may proclaim my praise!’
