The Call To Love
Main Point: Jesus calls us to love each other as He has loved us – by laying down our lives for each other. Love = to do good to; to do no harm to. 1. The measure of how we are to love each other is how He has loved us – He laid down His life for us. vv. 9-10 2. We can only love this way by remaining in His love. Remain = Abide, dwell, live, continue in. 3. We will fully experience His love only as we do what He commands us (Obedience!). v. 11 *Jesus said, “Father, not my will, but your will be done.†Luke 22:42 Who is one person you can love this week?
