The Convicting Spirit John 16:5-16 Main Point: Jesus sent the Spirit to be with us, guide us into all truth, and convict unbelievers of guilt, righteousness and judgment. John 15:26; 16:7 1. He is the Spirit of truth, and He gives to us what the Father gives to Him to make known to us. verses 13-15 2. He convicts unbelievers of guilt and righteousness. Verses 8-11 3. He convicts unbelievers of judgment, because the prince of this world has been judged and now stands condemned. verse 11 Acts 1:7-8
