The Faith that God Rewards Hebrews 11 Main Point: We must have a faith that embraces God and His Word; It is trust and to His will that He rewards. ‘Confidence’ (substance) = ‘ ’ = Substructure/ foundation. ‘Assurance’ (certainty) - a conviction that comes from _____, from a demonstration of - that which is unseen is borne out- The object of our faith v.6 = the unseen, eternal God. John 1:18 1. Faith without is not true faith; it is not a faith that God rewards. (Embracement = obedient action) verse 6a -not mere intellectual faith – ‘I believe in God’ v. 7 Noah – built an Ark. Gen 6:13-22 2. In order to please God, we must Him in faith – which is to believe and worship Him by obeying! v. 6b verse 8 Abraham – Gen.12:1-4 > Romans 4:1-5 *Their faith was . 3.
