The Mystery of God Colossians 2:1-5 Main Point : The mystery of God is Christ, in Whom we must seek all the treasures of wisdom and knowledge. I Corinthians 1:18-21 1. The mystery of God is revealed – CHRIST who is the image (reflection, manifestation) of the invisible God. (verse 2) 2. In Christ all the treasures of wisdom and knowledge are hidden for us to seek and know!(verses 12 & 15) Colossians 1:16-17 3. The purpose is not merely knowledge, but that we be ‘encouraged in heart and united In love’ in our faith in Christ. (verses 2 & 5) I Corinthians 8:1b-2
