The Way of Balaam
Main Point: The Risen Christ calls us to be faithful and pure, not compromising with the world or committing sexual immorality. Numbers 25:1-3, 31:16 - Balaam's influence = symbol of compromise and immorality 1. Keeping our faith in Christ requires that we abstain from compromise with idolatry. (v. 14) 2. Keeping our faith in Christ requires that we abstain from sexual immorality (v. 15) 3. The remedy for these repentance (v. 16)
