You Shall Call Him Yeshua Luke 1:26-38 Main Point This Child conceived in Mary by the Holy Spirit will be called Jesus (Yeshua) = ‘Yahweh saves, or Yahweh our Salvation’ ‘Salvation’ (root word ‘sodzo’) = to be saved, made whole. (1:69,71) How is it that this Jesus will make us whole? 1. This Child Yeshua will be divinely unique. (verse 32) ‘He will be great and will be called Son of the Most High.’ Isaiah 7:14 Immanuel = ‘God with us’ Isaiah 9:6-7 ‘He shall reign forever and ever.” 2. This Child Yeshua will reign - His kingdom will never end. (verse 33) Micah 5:2 ‘His origins are of old, from ancient times.’ Revelation 11:15 ‘The world has now become the Kingdom of our Lord and of His Christ…’ Philippians 2:9-11 This is God’s Christmas gift for you! Have you received Him and His salvation (wholeness), and is He reigning in your life?
