Main Point: By His death and resurrection, Jesus obtained the gift of the Holy Spirit for every one of us who are His disciples. Receive Christ's Spirit who dwells in us and fills us with power for living! In order to receive this gift: 1) We must repent & believe in Jesus Christ as Lord 2) We must surrender to Jesus Christ and confess Him publicly (Baptism is the formal public confession).
