Rooted in Christ Colossians 2:1-12 Main Point: We must be rooted in our walk with the indwelling Christ, and not be led astray by the deceptive philosophies of the day. 1. We must receive Christ Jesus as Lord into our lives. (verses 6 & 9) John 10:24-33 Romans 10:8-11 Have you received Christ Jesus as Lord into your life? 2.We must continue to live in Him, rooted, built up and strengthened in our faith in Him. (verse 7) ‘Rooted’ = become established by roots, thoroughly gounded Hebrews 5:11-6:3 3.We must guard against the deceptive philosophies of the day. (verse 2-3) I Timothy 4:1-5
