You’ve Got a Friend in Me! Hebrews 7:23-28 Main Point: Jesus, our great Savior and High Priest, is able to save us completely because He lives forever and intercedes for us always. Intercede = to entreat, ask strongly, confer with (I John 2:1-2) 1. Jesus was made perfect through what He suffered - He obeyed the Father perfectly, and through His sacrifice became the source of our salvation and obedience. (verse 28) Hebrews 5:8-9 *Jesus Christ ever is the High Priest, Sacrifice, Intercessor, and the Mediator of the human race! 2. Jesus is able to save completely those who have received Him, because He lives forever and intercedes for us always.(verse 23-25) Hebrews 10:14
