Called To Grow & Not Fall Away Hebrews 6:4-12 Main Point: God calls us to grow into maturity in Christ and be fruitful, making our faith sure. We must not forsake Christ, for it will prove that our faith is false, not true saving faith. 1. If we have genuine faith, we will grow, persevere and bear fruit that accompanies salvation. verses 7-12 James 2:14-25 2. If we have genuine faith, though we will sin and fail, we will not fall away from Christ, for there is no other way of salvation. verses 4-8 The Danger: Hypothetical or real? Hebrews 3:12-14
